FBI AND JPSO SEEK PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING BANK ROBBER

The FBI and Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual who robbed the Metairie Bank located at 3922 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, Louisiana.

At approximately 9:24am today, a white male entered the bank, approached a teller, and demanded money. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen fleeing the bank on foot. The robber's hat and jacket were recovered outside the bank. The robber is further described as follows: approximately 5'10", 170 lbs, brown hair, medium build, mid to late 40's, wearing a tan Nebraska Huskers baseball hat, a black fleece Jacket, light blue jeans, a white shirt and athletic running type shoes.

SAC Bernazzani and Sheriff Newell Normand ask anyone with information regarding this bank robbery to call the FBI at 504-816-3000. The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000. for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
