SAC James Bernazzani announced today the arrest of Samuel Jackson, wanted out of Eastern District of Michigan on a Federal warrant for Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (UFAP).

Today, at approximately 7:00am, FBI agents arrested Jackson, also known as Michael Stokes, age 26, in New Orleans, Louisiana.  JACKSON was arrested pursuant to the UFAP warrant for the underlying local charges of First Degree Murder, Assault with Intent To Murder and Felon in Possession Of A Firearm which he faces in Detroit, Michigan.

Jackson was remanded to the custody of the Orleans Parish Sheriff.
